Who We Are
THE TRUST ACADEMY is a collective of consultants who are formally trained, licensed and equipped with professional expertise and experiences to help organizations (namely faith-based) navigate the difficult terrain of trauma in all its forms (i.e. mental health and wellness issues, abuse, institutionalized racism, systemic oppression, mass incarceration, etc.) and the impacts on individuals and communities.

THE TRUST ACADEMY offers foundational training in Trauma-responsive understanding and trauma-responsive approaches to ministry. Those looking to fully employ transformative practices would participate in the following:
Ministry assessment and recommendations.
Foundational training in trauma-informed care.
Trauma-responsive ministry development training.
Supplemental training focused on strengthening and embedding trauma-responsive principles in the strategic ministry plan (i.e. ministry development and implementation, member care, outreach, etc).
Technical assistance and consultation for ministry leaders and support for helping professionals within the congregation.
Technical assistance and consultation support for senior leadership (ie. senior pastors, associate pastors, board leaders/members).
